Account and data deletion

You can delete your Combup account and the data attached to it at any time. There are two ways: permanent deletion from inside the app, or a request by email.

Delete from the app (immediate)

1. Open the Combup app.
2. Go to the Hesap (Account) tab in the bottom bar.
3. Tap Hesabi sil (Delete account) at the bottom of the page and confirm.

Your account is closed the moment you confirm. The action cannot be undone.

Request deletion by email

If you cannot open the app, write to [email protected] from the email address of your account. We complete the request within 30 days at the latest and confirm it in writing. If we cannot verify your identity, we may ask for more information.

What is deleted

• Account details: your email address, your name, your Google or Apple sign-in identifier.
• Conversations: every chat you had with the assistant.
• Size profile and favourites: saved sizes, preferences and favourite products.
• Photos you uploaded: images sent for outfit try-on.
• Price alerts and notifications: the alerts you set, your notification history, your push notification registrations and your browser notification subscriptions (subscription address, encryption keys and browser name).
• My Wardrobe: the items you added to your wardrobe and their photos; the photos are removed from the server immediately.
• Your weekly picks: the picks prepared for you and your picks preferences.
• Community: your Community profile (username, display name, bio), posts, comments, likes, saved posts, votes, follow and block records, the moderation records about your account and your Community photos; the photos are removed from the server too.

What is kept

• Payment and subscription records: kept for the retention periods required by financial legislation, up to ten years; these cannot be deleted even when the account is. The invoices themselves are kept by Paddle as Merchant of Record (by Apple or Google for in-app purchases).
• Backups: deleted data is replaced in security backups within 30 days at the latest.
• De-identified statistics: search and interaction counters may remain as aggregate statistics once they are detached from your identity. Counters that are not tied to an identity are deleted after 90 days.
• Community traffic records: the record of posting, commenting, photo uploads and profile actions in the Community (account number, action, time, IP address) is kept for 2 years as required by Turkish Law No. 5651 and then deleted. Reports you sent stay with the record of the reported content, separated from your identity.

Deleting only part of your data

You can also remove single items without deleting the account: chats from the chat list, favourites from the favourites screen, your size profile from the Account screen, price alerts from the alerts screen and wardrobe items from the My Wardrobe screen, and Community posts and comments in the Community in the app. For anything else, write to [email protected].
